Titanker, a successful bike lock seller on Amazon, presented me with an exhilarating challenge — transforming a functional brand into an inspiring advocate for urban exploration.
Titanker had the ambition to break into the Western market and optimise their Amazon listings, standing out from the myriad of bike lock sellers.
My mission was to reposition Titanker from being a mere security brand to a brand that inspires exploration of the inherent and natural beauty of the city.

I carefully identified the values, perceptions, and aspirations of urban cyclists and how Titanker could resonate with their lifestyles.

Capitalizing on these insights, I reimagined Titanker's entire branding approach. I evolved the brand language, visual identity, and storytelling to inspire trust and incite exploration.

The narrative positioned Titanker as a holistic provider of urban cycling solutions, painting a bright future where the brand becomes an integral part of every urban cycling experience.
I DEVELOPED THE BRAND PHILOSOPHY AND STORY.
I wrote a multi-part origin story for Titanker, delving into its founding motivations and its evolution.
Alongside this, I defined a brand philosophy that connected the urban experience to the beauty of nature.

I REDESIGNED THE AMAZON HOMEPAGE AND UX.
For Titanker's Amazon homepage, I aimed to encapsulate their new brand world in a digital storefront. I used curated, cinematic imagery to present a narrative of urban exploration and adventure, framing Titanker as a key enabler of this lifestyle.
The design showcased Titanker's products in a clear, navigable manner, highlighting the new product series and tying them to the brand's philosophy. The copy was concise and inspiring, reflecting the brand language and ethos we'd developed.
Ultimately, I crafted a homepage that was more than a product display—it was an immersive experience reflecting Titanker's reimagined identity, highlighting the beauty and freedom of secure urban exploration.
I Developed a Western-Centric Tone of Voice
To infuse the brand's messaging with a sense of adventure and urban exploration, I developed quotes that captured the brand's essence.
These were designed to be peppered throughout the brand's communication assets, evoking the brand's worldview and promoting the joy of urban exploration.
I DEVELOPED MEANINGFUL VALUES.
I anchored Titanker's brand values in a nature-linked metaphor that connected the urban experience to the power of light.
The values of Twilight, Sunset, Sunrise, Daylight, and Sunshine each symbolize a different aspect of the brand's promise to its customers, from constant support to endless possibilities.
I CRAFTED THEIR TAGLINE.
In order to encapsulate the entire essence of the rebranded Titanker into a succinct, impactful line, I developed the tagline "Your urban oasis, unlocked."
The phrase 'urban oasis' depicts the city as a source of beauty and adventure, shifting away from a place seen as merely a busy and potentially dangerous environment. 'Unlocked' highlights Titanker's function as a provider of secure locks and also underscores the brand's larger mission: to unlock the joy and freedom of urban exploration.
This tagline hence not only guides Titanker's branding efforts but also sets the tone for the brand's interaction with its audience. It reflects the company's philosophy of safety and exploration, and immediately communicates the brand's unique position to consumers, promising them a new perspective on city life.
